San Diego Leather Pride 2008 -
March 13-16, San Diego. Annual leather event includes reception, dinner, San Diego Mr. Leather contest and dances. |

LA Leather Weekend 2008 -
March 27-30, Silverlake. Annual leather event features evening seminars, Mr. Los Angeles Leather contest,
dances and a Sunday street fair which includes demonstrations, vendor booths and entertainment. |

Las Vegas Pride - May 2-3.
Weekend will feature a night-time parade route downtown on Friday and a festival at the Las
Vegas Event Center (formerly known as All-American Sports Park), Sunset Blvd and Las Vegas
Blvd. |

Hot Rodeo -
May 2-4, A C Dysart Equestrian Park, Banning, CA. Weekend will feature IGRA sanctioned rodeo competition
events, sponsored by the Golden State Gay Rodeo Association - Greater
Palm Springs Chapter. |

Long Beach Pride - May 17-18,
Marina Green & Rainbow Lagoon, Long Beach. The yearly celebration includes four entertainment
stages, dancing and food. A parade highlights Sunday morning. |

International Mr Leather - May 22-26, Chicago, IL.
International contest draws leathermen representing organizations, communities and business from throughout the world.
Includes reception, contests events, leather marketplace, victory celebration, and black and blue ball. |

Spring California Men's
Gathering - May 23-26, Malibu, CA. Provides a place where men can explore different ways
of looking at life and expand concepts of self while having fun. |

Los Angeles Pride - June 6-8, sponsored
by Christopher Street West, features a parade Sunday and festival Saturday and Sunday which
includes entertainment stages, vendor booths, dancing and food in West Hollywood. |

Los Angeles Rodeo -
June 20-22, Rancho
Potrero Equestrian Center, Thousand Oaks, and the Warner
Center Marriott. Weekend will feature IGRA sanctioned rodeo competition
events and other activities. |

Southern California Leather Gathering - June 28, South El Monte, is an outdoor gathering open
to ALL leather/BDSM-related groups, organizations, businesses, individuals, etc., and is inclusive of ALL gender and sexual orientations. |

San Francisco Pride - June 28-29,
features a colorful parade, festival, dancing, food, music, entertainment stages and other
events. |

Outfest 2008 Los Angeles Gay
and Lesbian Film Festival - July 10-21, showcase for diverse, international gay, lesbian,
bisexual and transgender film and video, features more than 200 feature and short films,
at nine venues. |

San Diego Gay Pride - Festival July
19-20, Balboa Park, includes entertainment stages, several dance floors, food, and vendor
booths. Parade along University Ave. |

Up Your Alley - July 27
(Sunday), 11-6, Dore Alley, San Francisco, leather and fetish event which features vendor
booths and entertainment. |

Sunset Junction Street Fair
- August 23-24, Sunset Junction, Silverlake. Street fair celebrates diversity, promotes understanding
and acceptance in the local community, features entertainment, food and vendor booths. |

ways of looking at life and expand concepts of self while having fun. |

San Diego Rodeo - September 11-14, Lakeside
Rodeo Grounds, Lakeside. Weekend will feature
rodeo performance events, dancing, entertainment and the "famous San Diego Parties". |

Gay Rodeo & Festival - September, featuring a weekend of rodeo events, country
dancing, entertainment and a festival at the Corralejo Tequila Arena, Driscoll Ranches, La
Honda, California. |

Folsom Street Fair - September
28 (Sunday), San Francisco. Twentieth anniversary of this annual leather event which features
demonstrations, vendor booths and entertainment. |

Castro Street Fair - October
5 (Sunday), Castro and Market Streets, San Francisco, features vendor booths, food, music,
dancing and entertainment. |

National Coming Out Day - October 11, Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender people and
friends hold workshops, speak-outs, rallies and other events aimed at showing the public
that GLBT people are everywhere. |

San Fernando Valley Pride -
October 12, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., CBS Studio Center, Studio City, to feature entertainment,
dancing, vendor and food booths. |

AIDS Walk Los Angeles - October 19,
This 10-kilometer (6.2 miles) AIDS Walk begins and ends in West Hollywood and aims to raise
urgently needed funds to help prevent the spread of HIV and provide life-saving services
for those living with and affected by HIV and AIDS. |

Halloween
Carnival - October 31, Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood. This night of tricks and treats,
the Halloween & Costume Carnival draws over 400,000 participants to The Boulevard for
food, merriment and costume contests. |

Greater Palm Springs Pride - Festival
November 1-2, Palm Springs, CA. Includes entertainment, dancing, food, and vendor booths. Palm Springs Stadium.

Palm Springs Leather Pride '08 - November
6-9, Palm Springs, CA. Includes reception, dinner, Sunny Dunes Street Fair, Palm Springs Mr. Leather contest and dances,
presented by Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert. |
